We announce the beginning of PMI Serbia Chapter 2021 Board Elections, and its first stage of election process – Nomination.
All registered members of PMI Serbia Chapter can be nominated as candidates for Board Oof Directors with exception of Board members that served 2 consecutive terms in the same office according to Bylaw’s procedure.
You can nominate yourself or nominate another member of the Chapter. If you want to suggest nomination for someone else, you need to have at least 5 signatures of PMI Serbian Chapter members. Election Committee has the mandate to propose candidates too.
We wish to encourage all the members who are interested to participate actively in the work of Chapter, especially those who own experience both in Project Management as well as Functional Management, who can successfully transfer their experience to Board, to be nominated or to nominate themselves. We remind you that the Bylaws of the PMI Serbia Chapter (https://pmi.rs/elect2021) defines the existence of six board members:
- President
- Vice President
- Director for Professional Development
- Director of Finance and Administration
- Director for Membership and Promotions
- Director for Relations with Professional Organizations
You are invited to get more familiar with the duties and responsibilities of each position. The most important roles and responsibilities that enable the effective chapter management are present in a study elaborated by PMI volunteers (https://pmi.rs/elect2021).
Please note that in determining eligibility and ability of each candidate the Election Committee will follow the PMI’s recommendations for selection of the Board members. The Election Committee will duly inform the nominated candidates if their applications need to be amended.
On the location https://pmi.rs/elect2021 you can find “2021 Officer Candidate Form – elections_SRP ENG” which is the application form. It is necessary to carefully fill out the application document and to submit it to the email address nominations@pmi-serbia.rs. Application deadline is Monday, 5th April 2021 till 23:00 (CET).
